Configuring my Laptop to make it USEFUL
My last two laptops have been HP Pavilion i7 11th & 13th generation devices. I bought them because the weight, price and Costco warranty were attractive.
Unfortunately, the first one didn’t last as long as my beloved IBM T420s Thinkpad. That one lasted 9 years, whereas, my 11th generation i7 barely went 2 years before it started having minor issues.
Making it useful
I do tech work so the function keys should be primary, and the glamour keys such as screen brightness, volume, etc should be secondary. In order to make this tech friendly, I followed this video (linked to when the video is useful):
