Dashlane Issue – Solved

After a Chrome browser update Dashlane starting acting differently on one of my chrome profiles – this was annoying and a potential security issue.

The issue I was having was not due to the design of Dashlane, but rather an issue of User Experience caused by some odd issue. This is a security hole because my normal pattern of typing in my password as soon as the Dashlane box could expose my password in plain-text when I inadvertently type it in the email form.

I tried searching, removing the add-on, etc, I finally contacted Dashlane and after dealing with their annoying BOT I was able to get to a human.

Once I got a human, they quickly sent me their support website that helps Revoke Dashlane Access and then reinstall it on the offending Chrome Browser Profile.
